The heart is the most important muscle in the body. Just like any muscle, the heart needs exercise to make it stronger. Aerobic exercise/cardio exercise is the best exercise for the heart.
Do some type of continuous exercise daily that increases your heart and breathing rates and uses the large muscles of your body, such as legs and arms. The American Heart Association recommends that children are active for at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity a day.

*Take a walk or jog and pump your arms up and down
*Climb the stairs instead of taking an elevator
*Go for a swim
*Play a game of tag or soccer with the family
*Ride your bicycle
